The Geordie Hiker Ltd ("we", "us", "our") built the Explore The North East app. This page informs

information you create within the app — including favourites, visited places, personal notes and
photos — is stored locally on your device only and is never sent to us or any third party.

The app requests access to your device's location solely to show your position on the map and
calculate distances to nearby places. Your location data is never recorded, stored beyond your
session, or transmitted off your device.
3. Photos
If you use the photo journal feature, photos are stored locally on your device only. We do not
access, upload or share your photos.
4. Analytics
We may use Google Analytics in future versions of the app to help us understand how the app is being
used and to improve the user experience. Google Analytics collects anonymous usage data such as
screens visited and features used. No personally identifiable information is collected. You can

5. Third Party Services
Other than Google Analytics as described above, Explore The North East does not use any third party
advertising or tracking services.

Our app does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
