  Overview

Point & Peak is designed with your privacy in mind. We collect minimal data and

  everything stays on your device.

  Information We Collect

  Point & Peak does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to

  external servers.

  Location Data

  The app uses your device's location services solely to determine which peaks are

  visible from your current position. Location data is:

  - Processed entirely on your device

  - Never transmitted to any server

  - Never stored or logged

  - Only accessed while the app is in use

  You can revoke location permission at any time in Settings > Privacy > Location

  Services.

  Camera Access

  The app uses your camera to display the augmented reality view. Camera images are:

  - Processed in real-time on your device

  - Never recorded, stored, or transmitted

  - Used only to display the AR overlay

  Screenshots and Photos

  The app includes a screenshot feature that saves images to your device's photo

  library. When you use this feature:

  - Screenshots are saved only to your local Photos app

  - We do not have access to these images

  - Screenshots are not uploaded or shared with us or any third party

  - You have full control over these images in your Photos app

  The app requests permission to save to your photo library solely for this

  screenshot feature. You can revoke this permission at any time in Settings >

  Privacy > Photos.

  Any screenshots you choose to share publicly (social media, App Store reviews,

  etc.) are shared at your own discretion. We are not responsible for images you

  choose to share.

  Data Stored on Your Device

  The following preferences are stored locally on your device using standard iOS

  storage:

  - Favourite peaks

  - Visited/bagged peaks

  - Display settings (label size, theme, etc.)

  - Compass calibration offset

  This data remains on your device and is not accessible to us.

  Third-Party Services

  Point & Peak does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking

  services.

  Data Sharing

  We do not share any data because we do not collect any data.

  Changes to This Policy

  If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be posted here with a revised

  date.
